Tracy Campos a Hygienist at TenderCare Dental in Tigard, OR recently presented an award to the graduating hygienists. Tracy was asked by the Oregon Dental Hygiene Association to present an award at the graduation of a Portland, Oregon Hygiene School.
Last year, Tracy received the same award and was honored to present this years Future Leader Award at her Alma Mater.
The ODHA Future LeaderAward is presented to an outstanding graduating dental hygiene student at each of the seven dental hygiene programs in Oregon.
Prior to 2012 this award was called the Professional Achievement award and had slightly different criteria. All award winners have been outstanding members of their classes.
These winners were selected by their peers who feel they have shown potential as a leader during their time together. Students were asked to choose a peer who has shown the following qualities: “Leadership, vision, passion, communication skills, assertiveness, dedication, and enthusiasm. Additional criteria include being a student member of the ADHA and planning to pursue a career in Oregon.
The recipient will receive a gift from ODHA and will receive opportunities to explore leadership within the association
We are proud of Tracy who represents all of our accomplished hygienists at TenderCare Dental. Tracy is also does outstanding work as a hygienist and is great with patients. She takes every opportunity to teach and educate about oral health and hygiene. She also provides a comfortable experience when having your teeth cleaned.
